ROAD TRIP CONFESSIONALS

TIMELINE:
It's the days after the purple worm incident. The beautiful Fantasy Australia scenery is composed of dirt, some embarrassing shrubs, and a whoooooole lot of despair. It's gonna be a looooooong drive to the temple if we don't figure out some way to pass the time!

What does that mean?

It means: It's time to get to know each other, assholes!

Post a top level so your party members can approach you with their probing personal questions!

Respond to other people's top levels with your probing personal questions!

Mix! Mingle! Make friends!

"No problem. Anything to make this trip easier."

Velo hands over one of the bottles, stashes the second, and helps herself to part of the third. She'll make a point of sharing it around with everyone.

"...Heh, I say that like this trip's bad to begin with. I mean, it probably is, but I'd rather be out here instead of a prisoner in those mines."

Velo is about to take a swig, as well, but the question gives her pause. With most people, she'd probably keep quiet about it. No need to bring up what wasn't relevant, but having traveled together for this long, Nin deserves to know. She takes a breath and starts rattling off the charges she was convicted of.

"Twenty-five counts of first-degree murder, ten counts of involuntary manslaughter, tampering with Empire-owned military devices, destroying said devices, treason, instigating rebellion, stealing Empire goods, tampering with Empire goods, creating forbidden technology, using forbidden technology, unauthorized use of magic, and breaking curfew."

She takes a drink. Yep, that's everything.

"I was also charged with public indecency, but that was acquitted. Also property damage. I don't know how I got out of that one..."

"The Empire loves doling out convictions, and I'm pretty sure half a building counts as some form of property damage. Guess it wasn't technically me that did it."

She pauses to take a mouthful of stew. It was almost like she was disappointed to not be charged with it. Truth be told, she would have rather not be caught at all, but with everything else under her belt she might as well go all the way.

Moderation? What's that?

"The whole thing was a worker's strike gone wrong. I wasn't the head of it, but I was the mouthpiece and one of the driving forces, so when we were caught the Empire shoved most of the blame on me."
