It was a hell of a day.
The ladies had a grand adventure chasing down Oscar and accidentally zombies, and the guys nearly got murdered by an eldritch horror. Again.
So now the dudes have to rest because going to the super-dangerous mines when tired is a terrible idea.
They've got a day or two to kill, so this is for what happens while the guys (mostly Malcer because holy fuck dude) are recovering.

Velo leans a little further into Naeris with a sigh. Naeris does have a point; Oscar doesn't really justify their friends getting hurt as badly as they did.
"There's a lot I wish I could have done differently, or better. Or both. I learned a lot from each of those experiences, but the price I paid for it was always too steep. I hurt a lot of people, and nothing's gonna change that."
It's her turn now to be quiet for a moment. The incident at the workshop was a hell of a time, and even thinking about it...
"...I guess I'm just trying to numb the pain by looking at the positives."

So, Naeris gives the tiniest nod of resolution! Time to bottle all that up and push it aside like any mentally-slash-emotionally sound and healthy individual would. It's not the Lliiran way, and it's not necessarily Naeris' way when it comes to her own emotions, but those aren't important now. Her friend's emotions, on the other hand, are.
"That's not a bad way to look at it! Focusing on the positive can help put past mistakes into perspective."
She smiles!
"Don't be too hard on yourself, okay? You've already more than made up for any mistakes you may have made--you've been doing a great job protecting us, after all!"
