It's the Final Countdown

lizardtitsDespite many visits from Portia while at Death's door, as well as Tetra's ever-wavering thumb, somehow these nerds made it to the final four. All of them. So it was inevitable that they'd end up fighting each other. It was unpleasant, but necessary if they were going to get Balan free of his chains.
The fight between Team MUSCLES and Team STABBY FAMILY went about as well as expected, save for Varis, who really pulled through with some amazing stabbing before being put down for the count. It was closer than anyone could have anticipated, really. A plan was a plan, though, and Team MUSCLES moves on to the finals.
The other fight, however, was a bit of an upset. The odds were heavily in Bowen and Naeris' favor, given both of their relative bulk compared to the glass cannon that was Velo and the reinforced glass cannon that was Nin. It was still a somewhat close match, but then Velo had to go and accidentally summon a unicorn and ruin everything by riding it into battle and winning.
But what's done is done, and now all that's left is to prepare for the final fight, as well as what to do when this is all over, as well as what to do if Tetra gives the thumbs-up.
